Pupils in this category learn to understand and use some basic vocabulary and expressions related to their own personal, concrete world. They learn to communicate using simple exchanges, introduce themselves, and ask and answer questions in α simple, repetitive way. By the end of the year, simple interaction is feasible provided the other person speaks clearly and slowly and is prepared to assist. On completing A Junior, students are pre A1 level according to CEFR(Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
